CURTAIN UP

Its the time... after 2 months of hard practice and running crazy, We get to show it! Everyone has worked hard and its going to pay off!



My biggest shoutout goes to MARISSA BRAITHWAITE GUBERNICK, this lady has done soooo many props, costumes and the list goes on! (not to mention her cute kid, CASHEL. she makes sure to give me at least one hug)



Next is TINA, she is my lady in charge..tells me what to do and even goes finds people! We complete each other in our duties, we pretty much are connected!

I feel ive made even more friends(as if i didnt know most the stake!) Body mics have their ups, getting to meet people and find info, whos expecting, whos leaving and i get tid bits of the show to watch! I have even made better freinds.

My newest awsoem friend is LELAND BROWN, this guy is awsome! he has become my big brother. He always looks out for me during practices and is always up for a hug! NOt to mention getting reconnected with an old friend from HB6, ASHLEY.

Give a dog a bone or in our case a cup of tea! or chair! haha

Dori keeps getting more intelligent with learning to get up and in things,that she shouldnt! Her newest trick is gettign in the computer chair and givng us a "hug" its cute! but if she doesnt want to give a hug she'll fin something on the desk(some sort of drink) and will try to drink it! Also she gets on the kennel and walks around. Lately shes having some issues not sure why but she barks alot.

Baloo, he is getting sweet and now into his trouble side is shining through. he loves getting on the counter and sticking his nose in anything he can possibly get! HE still chews on what he can! He also thinks hes a lap dog, well to himself hes a lap dog. he jumps on my moms lap and sits and wants attention,it is soo funny to watch!

As for both, they have now figured out what a cat is! poor nanook(the brown cat) has the lovely attention of the dogs back and watch her every move! though she does tease a bit! The dogs have started comprehending for "wheres _____" and whered ______ go?" or "Find ____" with the family!

Newest Adventures!

Okay so heres the week update!!!!!
Monday- Adult school
Tuesday I got springs put in my mouth... NO BUENO!!! they hurt and make my mouth sore!!! GOt my call to be body mic-er for CURTAIN UP!

Weds- I gave blood for the second time in my life!!! not as bad and i got a turquoise bandage!!! Then adult school.. :(

Thursday- I went to night practice and got a hug to Ashley and Marissa and "hung out" with the cool people!

So far theres my week in a nutshell! Not too exciting exceot for my mic job and getting hugs and blood! As most have heard, Jodi Hutchings had her baby, from the pictures shes a cutie! I love how most of my friends are married or getting there and some even babies on the way or here!

Life is crazy but the most important thing is that God has his plan and theres always a plan with craziness, because if there wasnt craziness, life would be boring!!!

Ok, so school has started, I love my classes...so far! i have 5 classes so i get out a bit early which is nice! Siminary started and i have Brother Boyak, number one PROBLEM....its never good to have a teacher thats in your ward! We are doing the book of mormon this year and Ive already passed 3 scriptures off and im only in week 2! So the relationship with Chris is a bit rocky right now, we hit a snag but i think we'll be alright. Hes doing well since his car accident and hes pretty much all healed up!

The dogs are good, they finished their training and passed with flying colors(so the trainer said..i think she was overly nice to Dori) Dori still barks but shes getting better, shes learned to contol it! baloo is still his dumb self hes so into being silly that he seems not so smart. dori on the other hand has learned to get on the dog house, hit hte latch to open the gate and let her partner in crime(baloo) out!

endings/new beginnings

With summer wraping up, i felt like i should give what has been going on during summer....
So I havent done much this summer, The dogs (Baloo and Dori) still ahve some problems but for the ost part are alot better than when we first got them. We have been in training for 4 weeks and have another session tonight. I just finished up youth confrence, I was on youth comittee this year which alllowed me to help plan it! Recently i was called to Laurel President.

I just had my first job interview for Kohls the other day and If I'm hired I should hear from them by the end of the week Or next! so nerve racking yet exciting!!!

Now for the end of summer:

1. 9 days ago the edingtons had the 4th baby! a boy, Ryder, he was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 in long.


2. also Chris was in a car accident and he got T-boned and has 3 hairline fractures in his Pelvis. Hes doing fine and healing well.
3. All my college friends are getting ready to head back up to Utah,sad day, I've loved having them home again. I did get the chance toi tell Alissa goodbye since the triplets(elizabeth emily nichols and I) went over to the PItts to give emily brownies for her birthday and ended up staying til Alissa got home. I miss having her around :( cant wait till Thnxgivng to play soccer all over again!

Now to the happy parts~~!!!!!!

With fall coming in, whihc means school starts again...its finally time SENIOR YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooo excited to get done with high school. I cant wait to see my friends again, I miss seeing and hanging out with them everyday! I can't believe I'm going to graduate so soon! And if i get hired by Kohls the happy part is I'll have a job!!!

Update on the Joys

ok, so its an official countdown, 3 days till my birthday!!!!!!!!! exciting!

also on the 20th Estelle (Hermana Harward) reported to the MTC to serve 18 montsh to the lord! i cant believe she is already 21 and on a mission. To top it off, lots of changes have been goin on. Brighter side of things is that my FINAL concert of the year is at hte end of the week and sooner is the fact that school is almost done! And sooner than I know it its my SENIOR YEAR!

All my lil babies are growing up(Merril, Quist, Bradshaw..etc) they are getting so big! I cant believe how fast they grow!

To make my week even better Sister Quist(rebecca) comes up to me to say she had a dream that she had to come pick me up form Idaho before the triatholion becaue i hated my dentist...strange. But one, I wouold never end up in Potato Country!!!! so now it is our insside joke.

Guess thats all for now...oh I almsot forgot, On my birthday i am FINALLLY GIVING BACK...im giving BLOOD at school for a blood drive for the first time! :(

Twitterpated!

From one of the most cute Disney films Bambi, We hear this word from the Owl, who sings a song about all the animals getting twitterpated in the spring. I can officially say I am now in the boat of twitterpated-ness. Yes, I know, Im growing up before many of your eyes! I have been dating this boy from my stake (Chris Myers) for almost 11 months now. We started dating when I turned 16 last may..i had gone on a couple dates with other boys, but for the most part its been Chris. On last tuesday, I had finally gotten the courage up to tell him I was/am in love with him. He so cutely replied back "I love you too, I've felt it for a while, I just didn't know how to say it" In my head i was like *YAY!!!!!!! it all worked out!*

Before Chris and I have shared our individual plans for marriage and kids and wedding plans that we want. Awsomely enough our individual plans match up perfectly. For a while now, I truely feel that he is the right guy for me. He knows I will only marry a return missionary and he still wants to serve the lord and I fully 100% support him in going(which he knows). right now we both believe in our hearts, that we want to marry one another a couple years down the road and I think It will truely happen, and only time will tell.

I told my dad all of this before I told Chris and suprisingly my dad is very supportive and thinks Chris and I will end up getting married. Chris told his mom and his mom is supportive and still likes me, which suprised me most of all. My mom found out later and Chris' still doesn't know, we feel he will go nuts if we tell him because he is very strict about his son not getting a serious girlfriend until he returns from his mission..In which Im not getting in the way of that.

Spring BREAK NOT GOING AS PLANNED

SO obviously by the title, assume that my spring break is not going well!
I have been coughing for a week and finally i had had enough and told my
mom that i needed to have a doctors appt made. She said that we would go
to urgent care the next day(being saturday). So we go to urgent care and get
in the exam room and the doc looks in my throat and says we'll take a chest
X-ray, I said "okay" she goes"well take your shirt off and pput this on and we
will walk you to the xray room ok?" so mebeing my stupid self, follow the
directions but the doc hasnt left the room yet(thankfully she was a girl!) so
my mom and i and the doc had a good laugh at the thought of me not having
modesty. So when the X-rays were developed we were told that thi white stuff
behind my heart was not supposed to be there and found it to be Pneumonia!
*AHHH* i was so scared, because my mom and I thought pneumonia was that
you had to be hospitalized and breathing tubes and junk, turned out to just be
mucusthat collected into my lungs and compacted to itself. So I got antibiotics,
Mucinnex and this nasty cough syrup. I ve been on the meds for about 3 days
now and am feeling better.

NEW BABY ALERT: so the bradshaws had their baby boy last night at about 9:50 pm. He weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce, and 18 1/2 inches long! Who is this little guy you may ask? CRUE AUSTIN BRADSHAW! this makes a count of 3 boys for mrs. brit bradshaw! Mom and baby are doing well,hes healthy and strong and they will be coming home in a couple of days or so.

As for myself, Im all over the place! I've been involved in more drama, through choir(but what high school function doesnt). I've recently contacted old family of which pretty much dropped off the face of the earth about 4 years ago, we're playing catch-up and realizing we've grown up but stayed the same and still love each other!! I'm still learning GERMAN for choir(braums and this weird piece). I'm starting to realize nothing is simple anymore, I've been applying for jobs left and right and no one seems to want me. I'm trying to stay up with all the new fads, and people I love(so if i havent talked to you recently send me a message or comment or facebook it!)

As for Its Complicated(chris myers), we are doing well, still dating and I'm asking him to Sadies Hawkins this tuesday!

Briana Walker

So as hanging out as friends Elizabeth and I went to The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach where we went to THE HUMAN ABILITIES FESTIVAL. We got to watch Briana Walker and the Colors Wheelchair dance team perform for our first time, we were excited!!! We got her to sign a page,take pictures with us and she personalized my copy of her book.



We also got to se animals,but those are less important. We really enjoyed the performance,and plan to go next year! She is a great inspiration to myself and many of my friends and we are so happy she still remains herself

So Chris and I went on another date...to Disneyland. Of course besides the mormon church Disneyland is the closest in number of people I know. We ran into Sister Crabtree as we made our way through the park to meet the Howes! Jodi approves and thinks we're cute together! Chris is getting used to meeting more people from my family to my ward. On December 15 He met my extended family(grandma,Aunts, Uncles and of course...my beloved Cousins). We like to mess with him a little as he is trying to learn names. In the summer I met his extended family.

As a part of mutual last tuesday, we(the laurels) did some scrapbooking. As a fun project/ love for my family I made two pages, One being about the wedding of Christopher to Sara..and the other about my cousins and I. Sara is busy working and going to school but has future plans for her and i to get together.

As a part of new adventures, I talked with Briana Walker(a single adult from peirside who is a pairapelejic..who dances in her wheelchair with girls form Colors N motion) and a few of my friends including my bestie Elizabeth are going to watch her perform at The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach next saturday. We are so excited, seeing that we dont go around watching People dance. A couple weeks ago, I bought her book Dance Anyway which you can get form her blog. I give it *** . It is an amazing book.


As finals are nearing, Stress is alost hitting my peak. On top of that I have to learn German for choir for our festival and concert in the spring, Luckly I have Emily Kendrick...who offered her skills to help me.
